In addition to the every day pipeline replacement techniques such as insertion or slip lining, PMI Denholm are specialists in the more complex techniques of rehabilitation, in particular the use of swage lining and pipe bursting.  Recent successfully completed large diameter  (16”/18”) swage lining projects in Leamington Spa, Sutton Coldfield and Edinburgh have re-introduced the technique to many engineers in the Gas Industry.  The working relationships with the Highways departments is usually an additional benefit of using swage lining, as the need for excavations and subsequent traffic disruption can be reduced by approx. 90%.
